Bend Over Mommy's Guide to Bondage Wear

Not sure what to wear for Marathon Stock and Bondage week?
Wondering where those gothic fetish costumes we saw for Holiday Party came from?
Looking to accessorize your already fabulous outfit?
Panicked because you completely forgot about putting together a costume and now don't know where to go shopping?
In from out of town and looking for the best costume to ensure a bl*w out away Hash week-end?

Now I'm sure some of you already have your costumes, or are such active members of the Boston Fetish scene that you have your gear all laid out. But for those of you who aren't really sure where to go on-line, or in Boston to pick up something fabulous which might then get you a hook-up at the end of the night, never fear, Bend Over Mommy is here with some suggestions of where to go and what to do.

Ideas to Ponder

  1. Corsets can be made by wrapping colored Saran Wrap around your torso, for that matter so can a full fetish costume
  2. Make sure your hand-cuff Keys are easily findable BY YOU, and more importantly are made of metal, not plastic, just trust me.
  3. Collars are great, and the pet store sells them cheap. They sell leashes too.
  4. Rope is an easy restraint, and you boy scouts can get your knot merit badges.

For those looking for costume ideas, think stock-broker, (or broke stalker), Bondage, Fetish, Whips and chains, the stocks they used to put people in "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge", or any combination of those words. Here are
some suggestions of where to look for clothing and/or accessories.

Online Shops

  1. Seduction Extreme - They're even having a sale, boys and girls!

Stores in Boston/Cambridge to pick up either the whole thing or just that last minute pair of hand-cuffs

  1. Hootenaney in Harvard Square
  2. Hubba Hubba in Central Square - they'll be more expensive, but good for ideas
  3. For all your drag queen needs, go to the Great Eastern Trading Company near Central Square: 49 River St, Cambridge, MA, 617-354-5279
  4. And of course our favorite Garment District off Kendall Square. Hit or miss, but you'll find something good and cheap!

These are just suggestions, if people know of other great places to go shopping please throw them in the mix. I'm sure I missed a few. Given the fantastic costumes at our recent Holiday party I can't wait (and am a little scared) to see what we all c*m up with this time around.

Oh, and Sign Up if you haven't!
